RFID, or Radio-Frequency Identification, is the revolutionary way businesses manage and track inventory. RFID inlays use microchips embedded into an antenna to transmit data to an RFID scanner via radio waves. Unlike barcode scanning, where the scanner must be placed directly in front of each label and be correctly oriented to scan, RFID tags can be read from 15-20 feet away from the reader at any angle.
